More recordings in isolation, a set of live noise experiments that were performed in quarantine between 2020 and 2021. Instruments included a digital simulation of the ANS synthesizer, two online shortwave radios, synths, a set of 1990s computer speakers, an ironing board and a carriage bolt. All were performed simultaneously.
Isolated Karaoke was originally the experience of listening in on the music that was played by our surrounding neighbors throughout the early stages of the 2020 lockdown, with the music mixed in with their own singing or casual speaking. This event was never recorded, this performed variant is the closest equivalent since it was what our neighbors would've heard around that same time.
